The Bompani artworks at IFA 2015
This year, at the trade show in Berlin, Bompani continues to focus on highlighting the importance of home appliances in our daily life and, once again, places it in a deliberately evocative environment.
The presentation of the eighth edition of the Triennale Design Museum, inspired by the science fiction book of 1955 "The Body Snatchers" by Jack Finney, shows that home appliances play a crucial role in our daily life and have started an actual revolution in our society.
The curator of this edition of the museum exhibition has personally chosen the Bompani products to create the installations.
For the “Fire” range cooker section, he selected historical products and other more modern ones from the Bompani collection.
In the section dedicated to "Cold and Water", instead, an impressive out of scale refrigerator, half robot and half alien, dominates the scene with its tongue of ice and red eyes with intermittent lights, created by Bompani together with JP Industries especially for the exhibition: the "King of Refrigerators".
It is a special installation curated together with Architect Italo Rota, to represent one of the most relevant Italian productions in recent decades, i.e. refrigerators.
